Synopsis
 Codango Labs recently called in our bomb squad to check out PostNuke (http://www.postnuke.com/). Getting started with this app was a breeze as installation was straightforward and simple. PostNuke sports a basic core of functionality that can be built up with their modular system of add-ons and community contributions. We found that whatever your sites needs are, its more than likely that PostNuke will be able to adapt to your needs with its module-based designed. The included theme-based system and a powerful API gave us a variety of ways to tailor and integrate PostNuke with other applications and existing designs. However, there is a price for all this capability, and it comes with the ‘learning curve’. Getting to know this system proved to be time consuming and in some ways frustrating, but for the hardcore site designer, the time investment will likely pay off later. PostNuke suffers slightly from a lack of robust documentation, but there is a sizeable user community backing it up with advice and solutions. On top of that, PostNuke is backed up even further with its solid security. All in all, we think their development team was undeniably on top of their game in implementing an inspiring approach to managing site content.
