Horrible. Do not come near! Written by Anonymous User (#1690-250) from Israel (Tuesday, September 27, 2011)

Strengths: Cheap Weaknesses: Site keeps going offline Details: Yes, they are cheap.
Yes, buying cheap costs way more...
I was tempted to test them for a month (thank god I didn't sign up for a full year). I think their up time is around 90% which is absolutely horrible... I lost crazy amounts of cash since their site was down and I lost customers over it... STAY AWAY EVEN IF YOU ARE OFFERED TO HOST YOUR SITE FOR FREE (as they did to me - they offered me a few weeks of free hosting as compensation... I wouldn't have accepted it even if it was for 10 years... Review Based On: 1 Month(s) of usage |
Did finally get the refund Written by Anonymous User (#1497-93) from baltimore md (Friday, March 25, 2011)

Strengths: cheaper service Weaknesses: spotty poor performance Details: I posted previously about the poor service and the fraudulent charge. I did finally receive a refund so I will give them that, although it did take a month and a significant amount of prodding via email (they have no phone number, even the credit card company didn't have a number for them). Still the server performance for my enterprise apps was poor. Review Based On: 12 Month(s) of usage |
Poor service then fraudulent charge Written by Anonymous User (#1662-344) from baltimore md (Monday, March 21, 2011)

Strengths: none. Weaknesses: poor service and fraudulent charges Details: I was foolish enough to sign-up for the 1 year plan (cheaper) and the service degraded quickly to the point where simple hosted web apps were dog slow. I asked for a refund and they would not give it and so I cancelled. When the 1 year mark arrived they charged my credit card for another year of service and after several weeks they have not refunded that money despite my constant emails. They will not provide a phone number to call. They are crooks. Review Based On: 12 Month(s) of usage |
Solid server admin, support needs work Written by Anonymous User (#1759-239) from Hartford, Connecticut, USA (Wednesday, March 10, 2004)

Strengths: Solid server administration, fast and reliable. Weaknesses: Support responses are somewhat unprofessional, perhaps due to language differences Details: I joined eroute early in the 4th quarter of 2003 when my old ISP faltered badly. I have no complaints about eroute's pricing, server maintenance, or installed components and services. All have been nothing short of stellar, especially considering the rock-bottom price. I have however been erroneously contacted for non-payment which was quickly (within 30 mins. or so)resolved, and responses to my emails have been friendly, but not confidence insipring. After one such exchange with one support person which was going well, I recieved a terse response from a different support person, persumably his manager. For the price and level of technical service, eroute is a solid choice. Please remember what you are paying though when emailing with questions. Review Based On: 6 Month(s) of usage |
