ASPnetMENU Written by j b from San Diego (Thursday, March 04, 2004) Writer is with: http://www.aspnetmenu.com

Strengths: Lots of capabilities and features Weaknesses: Very poorly documented, prepare to search forever to find a solution Details: I've been working with ASPnetMenu for several weeks now. The component is quite flexible and supports many features including client side events. However, one ought to be prepared to spend some serious time with it. Lots of examples but not very well documented. No 'manual' or general documentation to speak of. Unlike what you might have read, you will NOT be able to get going with this thing 'right away'. Strengths: 1- The XML source file; 2- The graphic of the menus Weaknesses: nil Details: I'd like to employ ASPnetMenu in the index page of my Web (I'm a total amateur).
It is going to substitute the actual index menu based on a Flash Mx Tree menu. Review Based On: using demo only |
Unbelievable applet. Written by Anonymous User (#1512-192) from Austin, TX (Tuesday, February 10, 2004)

Strengths: Beautiful, fast and intuitive. Weaknesses: Nothing I can think of as a "weakness" Details: Installation and setup of the applet was flawless. Accessing the applet as easy. Viewing the example menu objects was brilliant. I've seen some nice menu rendering systems, but this is truely immaculate, easy and fast. Review Based On: 25 Day(s) of usage |

Strengths: proffessional results for Weaknesses: no comment Details: I used ASP.Net Menu for the school website I am working on(www.whrhs.org) This product generates very proffessional products with very little development time. It's great. I especially like the feature were you can put picture anywhere instead of text. The feature I like the most, though, is the floating menu feature, which float the menu at a certain distance of the top of the browser window for example (This feature is demonstrated on our site. Try scrolling down) Review Based On: 4 Month(s) of usage |

Menu creation problems SOLVED...MIRACLE menu tool Written by Wendell Ebbin from Bermuda (Thursday, May 01, 2003) Writer is with: http://www.asp.net

Strengths: Excellent code design, very effiecient, intuitive interface and extremely customizable Weaknesses: no comment Details: Brilliant tool that makes developer's applications look visually stunning. It's not often you find a tool that can create menu's on the fly. Whats even better the menu's are extremely customizablle, and included demos show you all the tricks, including building menus from SQL database. Review Based On: 2 Hour(s) of usage |
