Came up short

Strengths: Seems good on surface
Weaknesses: Hidden costs, and not as mature as it seems
Details: We looked into this as a platform, but after going through the review process, decided on another platform. It sounds good on the surface, but we found that other asp.net platforms has more features, offered source cheaper, and were more suitable for our deployment. So it sounds good, but we decided to go with the other cart.

Strengths: Flexible, Clean Code, Robust Architecture
Weaknesses: Nested MasterPages can't be viewed in design mode
Details: We have implemented many asp.net storefronts over the years, but Znode Storefront is the best storefront software we have come across. Absolutely stunning look out of the box, very flexible design and great use of master pages. The software ships as a VS solution which builds nicely with VS 2005 and VS 2008.
Znode uses microsoft best practive recommendations for all components of this excellent software. Making changes is so easy and integrating other third party software is a breaze.
That's not all, Znode support staff are truly outstanding. Very knowledgable staff and response time of 24 hours or less guranteed.
We are very pleased with Znode and will make this software the standard for all e-commerce solutions we deploy for our customers in the future.
We are very happy to recommend znode anytime.

Highly scalable application

Strengths: Very user friendly, high performance, enterprise ready
Weaknesses: no comment
Details: Very impressive storefront - comparable to IBM Webspere - only much cheaper! Has enterprise class feature sets. Other storefronts are not even in the same league. I would highly recommend this for any developer who needs to build an e-commerce solution. Does require expertise with ASP.NET 2.0 but is easy to customize.
