Details: SpiraTest is a great test management tool for small organisations with limited IT budgets. The organisation I work for was looking for an inexpensive tool to provide a testing framework which would encourage correct test practices whilst being flexible enough to allow less sophisticated users to feel comfortable. It also integrates with other well known requirements, defect management and automation tools - which only adds to its flexibility.

Strengths: great features and very simple
Weaknesses: UI could be improved and more better positioning of the icons / tabs
Details: When I first opened the tool the UI did not impress me at all and brought a negative influence. Once, I start using the tool and started navigating around I found that all the features which are available in other tools are available and for the price I feel this is a very good product from any testing project.
Can improve the UI part of the tool. Great work so far and expecting more.

Strengths: Ease of installation and great customer support!

Details: As a SQA engineer who has utilized the top software testing tools for years I find SpiraTest is up to the task. It provides an integrated framework and environment to begin and complete project coverage from requirements to reports without getting lost in the middle.
The price alone justifies the purchase, but when you add the excellent Technical Support it can't be beaten. This tool is comparable to tools costing many thousands of dollars more.
