I love this product
Written by Gladys Gonzalez from Puerto Rico   (Thursday, September 19, 2002)

Strengths:   Easy to use, reliable, support is great
Weaknesses:   no comment
Details:   I really like this product. It helps us a lot in our applications. We can use it vertically or horizontally and it works great in both cases. For a ASP.Net application like the ones I work (600+) pages is very usefull to maintain the navigation. And the support is fast and good. I greatly recommend this product.

Incredibly Powerful, good value
Written by Josh Robinson from Atlanta, GA   (Monday, September 16, 2002)
Writer is with: http://www.bellsouth.com
Strengths:   Highly customizable, very flexible (using CSS stylesheets), not expense
Weaknesses:   menus do not feel as snappy on a "busy" page
Details:   I was able to implement a very complex menu for an intranet portal using this control in an extremely short amount of time. (The menu I implemented is based on, and looks/feels EXACTLY like the one found at www.bellsouth.com but is not available for external users). The use of CSS stylesheets is brilliant, and the ability to use graphics anywhere makes this menu tool extremely powerful. It can truly recreate almost any existing menu and any that designers can dream up. The only negatives that I can find are that the mouseovers are not as snappy on a page that has a lot of HTML on it. Hopefully this will be fixed in the next release. For your $119, you will receive incredible tech support that is responsive and has a quick turnaround. In my experience, they have even been willing to offer me suggestions and work-arounds that helped me with my design and implementations, so it is not merely tech support for bugs and feature requests. If you are still trying to decide what menu to go with (free, competing product, etc.) I would highly suggest that you at least give this tool a try. It will provide a much more professional look to your application and save many hours of work. The folks at CYBERAKT have done a great job.

Best Menu for .net by far
Written by Anonymous User (#1486-185) from UK   (Monday, October 14, 2002)
Strengths:   Easy to install, learn to use and really adaptable.
Weaknesses:   Not much
Details:   I spent a great deal of time looking around at all the 3rd party menus available. I already had the Infragistics suite but needed more control over menu settings. ASP.net Menu provided the answer allowing me to control the menu from database back end at runtime. What really made this product was the support. Whenever I had a question/problem, a quick email to the support guys and an answer would be back to me, normally within the hour. Great product

It's great so far!

Strengths:   Lots of options, Great support, Good examples
Weaknesses:   None so far but I am not flexing the capabilities of the product.
Details:   I am low-mid level developer and a novice in ASP .net programming. I wanted to build an application that included dynamic menuing but did not want to write a menuing component. This product is simple to start with and allows access to almost all of the details as you learn how to use it. The examples and reference documentation are very good but not outstanding. The multitude of options have given me a lot of ideas on how to make my application more useful. As an extreme novice, I would like to see a few more examples demonstrating the use of the properties and methods. I have tried 3 other products, and this product is the best I have tested. I highly recommend trying it out.

Good looking professional tool
Written by ROn Weston from UK   (Wednesday, September 04, 2002)
Writer is with: http://www.stringx.com
Strengths:   Professional, dynamic and robust
Weaknesses:   Hmm.. haven't found any yet.
Details:   As a developer I try to aspire to professional looking websites, you know the ones - Microsoft, Dell, etc etc. This tool really gives you the ability to have some really neat looking menu driven applications without all the headache of mastering Java and the internals of ASP.NET. Lets face it, this stuff needs to be developed by others while you concentrate on application specifics. This product is neat, I recommend you take a look. Definately worth the cash

Strengths:   Quick/Easy to install, affordable, adaptable
Weaknesses:   ...still looking
Details:   I compared many menu systems, including some that look the same for free. Simply put, this was the best value for money out there.
