Synopsis
 XSE (http://www.ecommercesoft.net/) is a shopping cart solution by IQ Services written in ASP.NET with exciting ecommerce software features for merchandizing and order tracking. XSE has plenty of features that are essential for the successful day-to-day operation of a shopping cart web application. With nice extras like real time FedEx shipping rates and a state-specific tax calculator, we were pretty stoked. The default user interface is not the best, but luckily the entire look and feel of the storefront can be changed through the administrative screens with a little knowledge of HTML. Security may not be up to par with other competing products, but in the upcoming release, the security aspect will be fixed (as per technical support). We found that the XSE technical support team is cooperative and always willing to help with any issues / questions related to their shopping cart web application (if only we could get this kind of help at a real store!). That’s a good thing, since we found some of the documentation was lacking. At the end of the day though, Codango Labs found XSE to be a solid ecommerce solution. Despite its few shortcomings, we think you’ll be just as pleased with it’s functionality as we were. Let the shopping spree begin!
