Listing Reviewed: Stop New Spam with ASP Strengths: simple, precise and straight to the point Weaknesses: none to my knowledge Details: This script reproduces the features of a program I have been using for awhile. It is a very good idea to have adapted it to asp... I admit I am even a bit jealous coz he beat me to it *wink*
very nice piece of coding, congrats :) Review Based On: 5 Hour(s) of usage |
Not even Netscape Written by Anonymous User (#1825-270) from Beirut, Lebanon (Wednesday, July 10, 2002)

Listing Reviewed: My ASP News Scroller Strengths: no comment Weaknesses: no comment Details: I was impressed by the flashy title. so I visited the demo pag and it scrolled like a charme under IE. Of course whoever knows a bit of HTML knows that <marquee > is IE proprietary so I expected something creative when I used NN. I only got the same headline in a <p></p> pair and NO Scrolling whatsoever.
Maybe the creator should specify it works in any IE browser not "Works with ANY browser " |

Listing Reviewed: JMailbox Strengths: no comment Weaknesses: no comment Details: To aproach this issue with an open source spirit. I have been telling myself I should develop a similar app for a year now with several failed attempts due to lack of time.
I for one will support this app and am ready to offer any help needed ! |
Good idea - except for the session variables ! Written by Anonymous User (#1825-270) from Lebanon (Thursday, May 30, 2002)

Listing Reviewed: Dynamic Title and Meta Tags Strengths: no comment Weaknesses: no comment Details: I really think that the idea is very ingenius especially search enigine wise since it allows to advertise the services while have the site spidered.
But the use of session variables especially if you have session.state disable is kinda awkward
good work though ! |

Listing Reviewed: ASPSMS Strengths: no comment Weaknesses: no comment Details: This COM matches any other I have seen on the market (check my other COM review)and it really does offer COM access to asp programmers, XML access to php/Linux based developers and even hhtp post as they advertise. Their COM is nicely documented and the features are unlike anything I have seen so far. I even changed hosts to be able to install 3rd party COMs. Two thumbs up...really ! |
