Details: I cant say enough about CJWSoft's scripts and this one is no exception. SUPER EASY to install and the support has been and continues to be top notch. VERY easy to modify code and well documented. Worth the money without a doubt.

Strengths: A starting point if you have no idea how to get live rates
Weaknesses: Very incomplete and poorly written
Details: Basically this code is just copied straight from the API docs found on the USPS website etc. Total newbie asp code... full of bad practices, to much to list. Doesn’t provide any flexibility nor does it rate a lot of package types and services. As stated its copied 95% from the API manual found at the USPS website. If you have no idea how to start this might be worth it, but if your looking to save some time you'll find this code is of no use and pretty much needs to be entirely re-written from scratch for any real world application.

 | Rebuttal From Listing Owner: Such a poignant review can only come from a desperate competitor. But anyway, this script is also meant as a tutorial code so do not mistake the extensive inline comments or inline documentations to be only a beginner's thing. Even advanced programmers that are new to XML will appreciate them. The script is written with expounded use of variable assignments to illustrate the function and purpose of all important elements needed to derive the live shipping rates. You cannot have too many inline documentations in a piece code, it can only become more helpful and makes the code so much easier to understand. The script gets the job done very well and not only does it enable a user to pull live shipping rates but it also educates the user how to leverage XML functionalities in pulling information from a remote server such as USPS. Details: Great product for the money, in fact systems costing 10x more dont have some of the features. aspbanner was a snap to install! had it running in 10 min and the one question I had was answered by support within 30 min.
