Details: I am an ASP developer, I have sold applications to many people but every time a client try's to use on of my applications on Brinkster they come back with errors. So after investigating the web hosting account I found there email systems are very rarely running, Databases have to be handled like nuclear waste. In fact I have found they put so much limits on creating ASP pages that is not even worth the effort to learn it. I would have to re-write my total applications just for it to work, In fact I have seen developers do this! |

Details: I did like this book up to the databaseing, most things are easy to understand. I too could not get the content rotater to work, and more information about database connections is needed (eg dsn or dsn-less) It really does not explain alots of things clearly, and is too much about the topic and needs to be more general . |
