Excellent product & Customer Support

Strengths: Easy to use. All the features and more required for online auction site. Excellent customer support.

Details: I spent a month researching online auction software and finally decided to go with Rainworx. The software is easy to use and I had my website up in one day. The customer support is unbelievably excellent. I didn't use Rainworx as my hosting company as my audience is in China. However, Steve went out of his way to help me out with the installation and reinstallation of the software and making sure things went smoothly. I definitely highly recommend this company for a user friendly and well thought through product. I translated my website in Chinese using their translation module and it was a breeze.

Details: I researched the top classified/auction software for weeks. I almost settled on a less expensive, less impressive software. The benefits and features of Rainworx software has far exceeded the costs. It is true, you really do get what you pay for!
The software has performed beautifully, and customization has been extremely easy. The code was well written and is very clean.
I am also utilizing hosting from Rainworx. Setup was fast, and so far I have not had any problems whatsoever.
I strongly recommend using Rainworx products, their customer service is also tip top.

Strengths: Continuous Updates--EXCELLENT Customer support--Fair Pricing

Details: I cannot say enough good things about this company and especially Steve (as well as Briana). I have done business with them for several years, and they are ALWAYS responsive to my requests. Even the ones that are anal.
I started out by using "offshore" programs--thought I was doing myself a favor. Took a few thousand reasons to finally figure it out--and I am very happy I found them in the USA! I have a couple of sites that have been developed over the years, and just starting another one this week--still needs a lot of work--and ads--but they will come--
They are vey fair pricing wise--and Steve goes overboard to be helpful--especially since my computer knowledge is very limited. He has NEVER let me down-- I would and do recommend them with the highest commendations--they are the best! Ralph--Head Gator

Strengths: Good allround package for the price

Details: We're delighted with the performance of Rainworx's AuctionPro 6.0 software since the recent launch of our auction website. Both the front and back end appear to be working well with no real problems at all and we have been very impressed with the customer service that we have received. It's our opinion that the software is excellent value for money, particulary when you consider the exemplary level of after sales service and technical back-up which comes with it, of which you'd be unlikely to get from other vendors of a similar script package at this level.

Strengths: Software seems easily manipulated if you know asp.
Weaknesses: HORRIBLE HORRIBLE SUPPORT
Details: Working with Rainworx has been a nightmare. Yes they have great software but there support of it is absolutely horrible. Steve is a complete moron especially with his "i dont give a s*** about you or your business" attitude he has." Steve needs to be replaced with some one that has actual customer service skills and actually cares about making you satisfied. God forbid you need anything done for your site. We have had to outsource all work done on our site because Steve has made it very clear that he doesnt care about meeting his deadlines or promises he makes.

Rainworx Auction 6.0 Fabulous Software!

Strengths: easy, affordable, functional
Weaknesses: no functional weaknesses - I would suggest adding design updates to the templates.
Details: 1. This is a $20,000 software for a fraction of that price. Powerful as is, easy to customize. 2. Rainworx is very responsive to all my needs. 3. This is a powerful tool for sellers that simply want a store for themselves, or developers looking for an 'eBay' type software to create a community of buyers & sellers. 4. I tested several more expensive options before choosing Rainworx. My decision was primarily based on Rainworx demo site. It was much easier to explore their software. Their support team answered my questions and answered their phones! Imagine that! Two months after my investment, they still take all my calls! 5. Since my purchase, I've put my minimal html skills to work to customize various layouts and simple appearance. 6. I have 75 users at this phase. And I have not had one complaint nor have I had to field one single customer support issue related to the site!! marcus antebi

Super Service and coding

Strengths: easy to use and configure, excellent stability
Weaknesses: webadmin a little bit slow
Details: I am using RWAuction 6.0 for almost a year now and must admit that the script is excellent. The support service is outstanding (some time a little bit slow). Thanks to all the RW team and in particular to Steve.
More feature needs to be added of course but I am confident in the future releases.

Details: I have been using the software for several years and fiound it very good. I have had Rainwox upgrade for me several times for a fair price and sort out some problems. Check it out my website is www.wxtrade.com The user interface is good and the new features on version 6 are all worth having - my next task is to integrate with spoonfeeder as other users of rainwox have done.

What a joke! What a Rip off!

Strengths: Great Functionality!
Weaknesses: DB Limits, Template Limits(CSS only), COM DLL's
Details: Forget about adding features, Template setup is garbage, MySql? PostgreSQL? forget it! MS SQL 2005 ONLY! Charge a fortune to modify code. Almost all functionality is locked up in dll's. Support treats you like a moron!, need to register dll's so hosting choices are limited! DONT USE THE HOSTING! SLOW, LIMITED, MISCONFIGURED, AND NO UI FOR HOSTING, UPDATES EXPENSIVE! FTP, and hosting is slow! Database access local which is good, but use of MyLittleAdmin is limitd, and backups will take you forever, one table at a time.. Also, backups are done daily but they charge a lot to restore it.. $350 i think. While updates are free, they charge $700 if you use their hosting, to backup database, and copy files. For the price, it wasn't worth the headache.
