This simple function can help you to get browser and plateform specific values. Currently it supports IE 4+ and NS 4+ on WIN & MAC. Default value is IE on WIN. Code: ASP 2.0 & VBScript

Details:   Its really a nice little function and will be quite helpful in different validations based on browsers. I was in need of such a script and finding it on right time is gr8. Thanks..

Details:   It works wonderfully with my code, as I have to do lots of twiking with my code for cross browser compatibility. And the best part of this is that it is very very simple to write code with the help of this function.

OK but...

Details:   This is quite a nice little script in VBS for basic browser detection given that most such scripts are JScript. However I doubt it will be of real value as it does not detect which version of IE or NS is being used: and this is vital if you are doing cross browser HTML. Add such detection in and I'll give you 5 stars.
