Strengths: Cost effective, full of functionality and very very easy to configure
Weaknesses: mixture of classic ASP and .NET
Details: I love it! I've researched a whole lot of .NET gallery apps out there and without a dooubt this is the best on, so far...!
It's ease of use and configuration is fantastic.
You need a bit of ASP/.NET/HTML knowledge to configure it and get it up and running.
Having access to the full source code is great.

Strengths: simple to install. simple to manage. simple to make changes
Weaknesses: Zip file of selection of pictures is not possible
Details: I have a lot of good experience with different server providers and different domains. It is not possible to install the pacckage on a non-windows servers like Linux.
The support of Iloire is very fast and clear.
The application with usernames and passwords is very simple. The upload of pictures is easy in FTP

Details: The system overall is great, I enjoy just uploading the images straight from my camera to the site.
The system is easy to install and configure. I was looking for a simple photo gallery that would not invole alot of time to upload images, currently we have over 5000 images in the photo gallery and we love it.

Strengths: Easy configuration, clear documentation in the files
Weaknesses: Could be better style, but it can be changed in the code
Details: I have a little knowledge of HTML and ASP coding, which is helpful. So, for me it's easy to look for the documentation in the files and make appropriate changes. For those without coding experience, it will take more effort, and a little deduction. Still, I think you'd have to be really very clueless to not get a gallery up and running fairly quickly. Nice job on nearly turn-key code.

AJAX Photo Gallery Is #1 for online album!

Strengths: Easy to use, nice feel and look, easy to install.
Weaknesses: Not really many other than getting the EXIF to work.
Details: After uploading the AJAX Photo Gallery, installation was a breeze thanks to the interface and instructions! Adding folders of pictures and having it automatically update the view was wonderful. Thumbnails and the resizing works good and picture generation is fast and reliable. Having a comments section was nice and people use it pretty regular!

Efficient scalable ASP photo gallery

Strengths: Efficient, on-the-fly resizing with caching, EASIEST configuration

Details: Of the Photo gallery softwares for windows, this is by far the most efficient photo gallery available for the price. Ease of installlation (unzip, edit 1 file!) is unbeatable.
-Thumbnailing on the fly provides a minimal (15-18% CPU) hit on my server when performing thumbnails of large 10.1MP jpegs. Future visits to the directory show a 3% hit, mostly for images already in hard cache. This also auto updates each time the folder is visited, providing simplistic updates and no administrative overhead!
Great software! Give it a try!
