Strengths: interface, good code, code easy to customize, language files for translation
Weaknesses: no ajax, one type of content per page
Details: Easy nice interface. Maybe it could use more web 2.0 ajax and effects to be up to date and more content types (with the possibility to add multiple content types per page. The code is well structured. As a developer, i found the source code is easy to modify. also easy to translate with the language files. a very good asp application.

Strengths: It is a very good ASP site highly configurable with descent support of Right-to-Left languages
Weaknesses: No drag-and-drop option for photos while editing pages, would like this option to be added
Details: Overall a very good ASP site, would like a drag-and-drop option to be added to page editing even with the price of an extension istallation to make it yet more intuative and easy to use!

Strengths: Basic, easy to use, cheap
Weaknesses: Too basic for most sites
Details: This is a nice cms, well suited for very basic websites. It's cheap, has a decent user system, and works well, but it has only support for normal pages, list pages, and contact form pages. No other modules or functions are built in. It's a good system for simple websites, with admins that only have basic skills. But if you need to build a slightly more complex or powerful site, this may be too simple and too limited very soon...

Strengths: SEO friendly URL's, ease of admin,brilliant support
Weaknesses: No mailing list manager, skining not too flexible
Details: They really went out of their way to help me fix my problem with setting up the CMS. Good response time and friendly. They do not hide their contact details on the site which is a sign of someone who wants to do business but takes responsobility for what they sell.

Strengths: Fast, search engines friendly, easy to setup and use
Weaknesses: Lacks of "news/articles" and it doesn't see to be updated much
Details: We had no major problems with the software, and some minor problems were solved very quickly. What is really missing from this application is some addons, like new/articles. Also some new skins would be nice.
I don't know if support is not available any more, since we didn't needed for a long time.

Strengths: Application (for the most part) works fine.
Weaknesses: Had issues with some of the coding and updates that were supposed to be done, but never delivered it
Details: Initially the support for this product was good. When I purchase an application, I rely heavily on their support to get back to me when I have questions, or if I bugs and fixes that need to be made. They used to be very good about this. But ever since about Jan. 2006, their support went down the tubes. I have been emailing them month after month, using their online form, as well as emailing them directly. But they NEVER REPLY. NEVER!! I am so surprised. It just really bothers me that I spent $990 on this application and now .. can't get a reply to my emails. They said they were going to be adding various features when I purchased it about a year an a half ago, but since then .. NOTHING. Not one added feature. Really piss poor support. Due to the lack of support, I need to rate this application a 1 Star (Worst Rating). If you buy it, good luck. You'll need it.

In your support requests, you where asking us to alter Sitedynamic to meet your project needs and requirements (We have counted 213 emails for more than 50 requests in 70 days only). Please understand that this goes beyond support and beyond the license agreement. SiteDynamic is constantly in development, we have released 5 minor version during your 12 months extended download service (We truly think that quality is better than quantity). |
