Strengths: Many features
Weaknesses: Very slow, Extremely Difficult to Customize, Wasted Steps
Details: I am using version v3.2 sold for a whopping $169.00 This script has many features, but is EXTREMELY slow especially when adding categories, so it is obviously designed for very small sites and not for those who have a lot of categories. Has no bad word filter(which is included in almost every classifieds or forum script, even the free ones), does not prevent duplicate categories which is terrible, allows only 3 levels deep for categories, wastes so many steps like it always defaults to Computers category even when you are working on other categories, does not allow a method to add multiple categores in one pass (already going on 3 weeks adding models to my Auto category and still have a long way to go - that's how slow this script is) EXTREMELY difficult to customize so much so that developer claims that even moving one field requires excellent knowledge of asp, javascript, and html. Grammar in the help files is terrible, and sometimes difficult to understand, which makes it even more difficult to customize the script. Developer has HORRIBLE attitude - cannot take constructive criticism. Obviously a one-man company under too much stress. I told him VERY POLITELY that his app is extremely slow and needs a lot of improvement, and that his attitude towards paying clients can use some improvement, and instead of giving a positive reply (like we'll try better next time) like other developers do with their clients, his response was to delete my posts in his support forum and to block my ip address from his support site. Believe me, YOU DO NOT WANT to pay $169.00 for this script, which, in my honest opinion, should sell for a maximum of $59.00 at the most. I have spent hours and hours on this script adding categories and trying to customize it, and if it were not for that, I would trash it immediately since it is just too slow. If you have to have a classifieds script, try ASP Classifieds.

 | Rebuttal From Listing Owner: All of the statements are flat out false. App. is efficient if properly configured. It may accept any number of categories. This client refused to utilize a full potential such as enclosed category bulk import plug-in for entering large number of categories simultaneously. This client was provided a good support. On 5 occasions his email server refused to accept messages. When pointed to the fact, he began posting messages at the support forum bashing application, developer and everyone else around who disagreed. When requested an application customization, he was directed to the featured developers list. But he refused to accept any extra services for custom work. Instead he again started flooding the forum with complains and demands by posting messages under different names. He was finally banned from the forum and fully refunded. Developers! Aware of this person! You would never satisfy a person who changed web hosting 18 times!! (as he claimed himself in another negative feedback) |

Strengths: Easy to install, setup and configure.
Weaknesses: only works with aspJpeg for image manipulation
Details: This is such a totally awesome application. I modified the code to use the eKov Picture Previewer dll instead of aspjpeg since I already had a license (for much less $) and I made some other minor changes. But this is an amazing program for which almost every possible feature a site owner could want has already been thought of and incorporated. I highly recommend this application. This is definitely the best $100 I've spent in a long time and the developer has been very helpful and responsive.

Strengths: Reliable, works simple and effective
Weaknesses: Design Templates are limited
Details: I have used Rapid for the last 6 month for one of my international sites. It works like a dream, no problems with the Installation and actual software whatsoever. Easy to configure setup. (If there was a problem, it was the Hosting SERVER!, nothing to do with Rapid!)
The ready made Templates are not my taste, but one can re-edit and play with designs if you have htms and CSS experience, which I have not.
Can still recommend this, as the developer (Gurgen) gives EXCELLENT backup SUPPORT, via his Forums, the best I had in my Internet life! Great system, get it! Regards, Grooggo
