Integration and running the guestbook

Strengths: Rich of features, coding easy to understand - very well structured
Weaknesses: Javascript not always conform to the standards
Details: The application is very well structured - mostly the comments are in English, although there are some in Italian.
The Javascript is sometimes tricky, because it is not always conform to standard programming.
Integration in an existing website (styles, formatting) takes a bit time.
Overall the application is working very well and comes with a lot of features.

Best Free ASP Guestbook I've Found

Strengths: Easy to install. Easy to modify.
Weaknesses: Initial config is visually unappealing, IMHO. ICQ function doesn't seem to work.
Details: Using the supplied Access DB, it is very easy to install and get running You only have to give the path or DSN to the DB and it works instantly.
IMHO, I found the initial layout and colors very unappealing. However, the tool uses CSS, the file naming is very logicial, and the includes are easy to follow. Thus it is very easy to modify the tool to your visual tastes.
The only thing I found that didn't work right away was the ICQ messaging. But that may be ICQ's issues and not the tool's problems. I don't fool with ICQ at all, so I'm not qualified to say. And I didn't spend any time experimenting. It was very easy to just comment out this part of the tool.
I've experimented with about 10 free ASP guestbooks. When all things are considered, I like this the best.

Details: Very well done application, easy to use and customize. Highly recommended! Have been looking for an easy and pretty guestbook, finally found it!
