Strengths: easily modable, easy to understand, and efficient Weaknesses: some styles seem hard to work out where referenced Details: modding it into a heavily graphically designed page. (tranceducer.com) Review Based On: 3 Day(s) of usage |

Strengths: Easy to use, and easy to install -- the best I have seen Weaknesses: Not as intuitive as I would have liked Details: Installation of the gallery was a doddle -- just unzip the archive to a directory on your server, and you're all set to go.
The gallery's only weakness is that you cannot just create a directory and upload the files -- you have to use the gallery's web admin form to create the gallery, and THEN you can FTP your files in.
The gallery has an upload form, but it can become cumbersome when dealing with large galleries (which this handles very well).
All in all, an excellent example of what ASP can do. Top marks, looking forward to seeing future versions!

Strengths: Simple layout, anyone will understand what to click on. Weaknesses: Looks like garbage, scared me off quite fast. Details: I checked the online demo at first and came to the conclusion that I couldn't stand the looks of it. The functionality was ok, it did what it should without any real hassels. After that I downloaded the script and went looking around in the source and it seems quite messy. I bet that it can be optimized quite a bit tbh. Hasn't been updated in a while either. Review Based On: using demo only |

Strengths: Easy to install Weaknesses: single file upload is a slight pain, multiple would be better. and choosing how many photos per page Details: Also it would be better if you could customise the gallery pages. Oh and annonamus users being able to upload there photos would be a bonus :/ or do you have to pay for that feature. Review Based On: 3 Day(s) of usage |

Strengths: simple to set up, straightforward and clear to use, has a professional feel Weaknesses: description must be entered separately from the picture, no database taken advantage of Details: I have loaded up the app and have used it for a short while.
The lack of a need for a database could be considered either a plus or a minus, depending on the target audience, but it works fine.
This guy has clearly thought about how this app will be used and has made it incredibly straightforward to instal. I am very impressed overall.
The only niggle is that you have to go back into a separate section to add a description for your pic. But what the heck - it gives you thumbs on a page, multiple galleries and an admin function. Review Based On: 1 Day(s) of usage |
