Great value for money

Strengths: Easy to set up (works out of box), good support, easy to use, value for money, easy to customise
Weaknesses: Only a basic cart package (lack of plugins/addons, lack of discount/certificates/wishlists, etc)
Details: ClickCart is an excellent product for its price. The code is great, and easy to setup and customise to fit into most websites. All support questions answered quickly. The code is very clean and easy to follow and easy to customize. It would be great to see addons or plugins for their cart, even at an extra cost. Due to the lack of more advanced features such as wish lists, discounts, coupons, affliates, etc we are being forced to upgrade to another cart system.

Good product, poor shipping options

Strengths: Easy to set up, add products, maintain
Weaknesses: Poor shipping options, can't do ship by state, or plugin dynamic calculations
Details: Used the product through several revisions. I have at least 8-10 clients using their product. Code is well documented, customization is quick if ordered. Modern shoppign carts now offer at least to choose to ship by state, or allow calculations on the fly for the major shippers. Because of this, I'm migrating away from ClickCart in favor of more updated alternatives.

Software does not work well with Paypal

Strengths: It same of other shopping carts
Weaknesses: The person does not know how to fix the paypal quanity feature
Details: Don't buy this software because the person does not know how to fix the paypal feature. If a customer orders 2 or more quanitity it will not show the correct amount shown. I have contacted the person and his response was it us paypal end. Give me a break it not paypal fault It is the software. The person don't even know how to fix the problem and I do not think he really developed this web application at all. I have seen several shopping cart that works with paypal and it has no problem using the quantity. If you go to this person website it not function at all also. Now I figure this person Jump bail and noticed he quit the biz. I feel sorry for us to pay a buggy web application which I again do not think he developed. If he did he would have at least fixed the paypal problem.

Excellent ASP Shopping Cart

Strengths: Easy to use, excellent support, works right "out of the box"
Weaknesses: For total integration with an existing site, you better know what you're doing
Details: I've added the ClickCart! application to a total of two Web sites now, and the functionalitiy of this latest version has made it extremely easy to get started. Because I'm a relative novice at ASP (and any scripting language, for that matter), I've had to learn quickly what to look for in order to make it work as a seeming seamless extension of the main site. I have had an excellent response from the development/support staff, and even from the lead developer himself when my questions seemed to be a bit more technical in nature. Thank you, Leo, for all your help and for making such a wonderful application for novices like me to get involved in e-Commerce quickly and easily.

Simple to modify, great app

Strengths: good structure, simple functions
Weaknesses: lacking wish list
Details: Clickcart has almost all the functions off carts 4xs its price. It includes everything to run an online store out of the box including built-in payment processing for most major online payment processors. It's also easy to modify by anyone with html and asp experience.

Good product, but a little difficult to work with

Strengths: Good product for price
Weaknesses: BAD customer service, don't expect to get any support
Details: The product is good, a little confusing at first but you get used to it. The only thing that is bad is the customer service and email response time. Don't expect much support.

Strengths: Simple to use, well commented code, easily customizable, fast turnaround
Weaknesses: Perhaps add a few more gateways.USAepay in particular.
Details: I'm an amatuer ASP coder..I can figure it out, but I prefer to use a teh dreamweaver gui. Click cart gave me the templates I needed to get my shopping cart up in running within a few hours.
The code is very, very, clean - easy to follow and super easy to customize. I've already moved the database schema to SQL, set up the connection strings, expanded the default searches a bit
