Strengths: Quick and easy. like it says on the tin.
Weaknesses: Since I am an idiot who does not know ASP, it is difficult to personalize.
Details: I needed something clean and simple and beautiful and this is it. Action Calendar is all action, if you ask me. I love it. Now, I won't build a page without a Calendar in it.

Details: hmmm, asp sucks anyhow. how about a php / mysql version? ya know, php or even perl (old school). <5min asp Xploit in the software.

Details: Great functionality and highly configurable for the experienced or beginner with the multiple view modes. This code is easy to set up, you can have a calendar up in 1/2 hour. Takes a bit of tweaking to get it "JUST" how you want it, but that came easy, my main concern was the admin link on the front of it which wasn't too difficult to hide. Real bargain at $19.95! |

Details: Works with a little tweaking on a Win98SE system. Good support from the author. Easy to integrate into a larger application. Can handle any date format by rewritng one line. Not quite foolproof (needs some work to recover from errors caused by over-ambitious newbies like the present author: you can create a link to another site - just don't make a mistake in your HTML code).

Details: Very cool interface! As a long-time windows programmer, I appreciate the windows like view for IE. It even adjusts to the user's desktop color! The source is top notch as well. |
