Details: Get DLL Register Server error 0x80040154. I am signed in as the administrator. I haven't found anything else about this error. I can't see spending almost $60 for a product that has this much trouble. A requirement of 300 characters is a crazy requirement when it can be said in very few characters.

Strengths: Unknown ... I could not make the program work.
Weaknesses: couldn't find the executable in the start menu folders, auto run would not unzip .asp file
Details: I am a seasoned PC user. Normally I don't have to read any documentation in order to begin using new software. However, even after reading what documentation I could find on the trial version of ZBit, I am still unable to make this program unzip a single file. I merely get the error, "Warning occured on one or more files".

Details: I had a problem with the Zip-UnZip component (free trial) on my server and sent a note to the support email, really not expecting to much, but instead they replied very promptly and had a number of suggestions for me to try. When their recommendations didn't solve it, they actually took the time to setup a similar server environment on their end to attempt to replicate the error. A resolution was made and I told them their support was ABOVE AND BEYOND what I would of expected from a smaller ASP utility provider. 10 Stars. Thanks Very Much! |

Details: Fantastic component -- and even better customer service. I had a request of being able to change the future default extraction directory -- they whipped up a new file for me, which I was then able to edit the default dir myself.
It's working great for us! It's the most reasonable zip component (w/capability to create .exe self-extracting files) that I could find. |
