Excellent Software

Strengths: Quick, easy and a great timesaver

Details: I love using aspmaker. I usually spend a lot of time designing my website for users, then once im done working on the user section I use aspmaker to create the admin section. I use to always dread working on the admin section, it was like having to create the website all over again, but aspmaker worked wonders in this department. It takes me, depending on what kind of site im building, about a full month to build a users website. Then, when I get to the admin section of the website it only takes me about 20 minutes to create, and thats only because I play around with different settings.
This truly is a great piece of software. I dont care if your a newbie or a web program professional, this is just a time saver.
I could use this software to build my whole site, I just choose to build the user section on my own since I go back and forth changing graphics and the page layout so much.
I would definitely recommend this software to anyone.

Best code generator for non-programmers

Strengths: Quickly build apps, powerful, logical interface
Weaknesses: Unable to create parametized queries, no menu system generated, only accesses one data source
Details: This program is outstanding. If the generated application had a menu system instead of a list it would be much better. The ability to add parameters for aggregate queries would get it a 5 star. I need to input queries for various quarters or groups of months, but the application does not accommodate this. The ability to connect to multiple data sources would allow for a single web interface connecting to a number of databases in the company instead of just one. I highly recommend aspmaker and aspmaker.net.

Strengths: Extremely Easy. Super Easy to Customize. A++
Weaknesses: None found yet
Details: We have been evaluating code-generation tools and came across ASPNET maker. Tried Iron Designer and a lot of other ORM tools as well. This one generates code just like I want, simple, efficient, fast. I have experience with .NET for almost 5 years now. And never seen any tool like this. If you want to concentrate on giving your client what they need rather than getting bogged by technology/what patterns to use and stuff like that, you should try this.
It will just save valuable hours of your life.

Strengths: Great for making administration systems for your ASP applications
Weaknesses: The code is hard to read, and might not be optimized.
Details: I've been in the webpagecoding buisness for quite some time now. I've always thought that the most important part is to have a easy administration system where everything can be controlled.
Until i started using ASPMaker that always took allot of time, but now this program makes most the work for me and I can spend more time on the fun stuff, that is the webpage itself!

Great proudct, nonexistent support

Strengths: Many levels of use, intuitive and quick
Weaknesses: Sent a very heartfelt thanks and question to them, never heard back.
Details: We tried it out for hurricane relief efforts in the gulf and it helped us speed up our work. I sent a heartfelt accolade to them with a question and they never responded or even sent back an antomated acknowledgment. We decided as a result to not purchase the product because we cannot depend on non-existent support in our work. This may change in the future, but for the mean-time, I would not recommend purchasing it.

What an Awesome Tool

Strengths: Best in it's class... which is really a class of it's own.
Weaknesses: None that I can find...
Details: I have been using this program for years and have found none equal. I can not imagine building a database integrated site without this wonderful product. The cost is minimal in relation to it's "competition" and worth every cent you will pay for it. The learning curve is almost as low as the price. Very easy to learn and set up.

Details: Well i have been using this GREAT tool from quite awhile and i think it's the best tool for generating asp pages in no time.The best thing about this product is that you can do alot of stuff with this software.It's so easy to use.You can build your entire web site with this product.So easy to use, so affordable. Once I got it, I found more and more uses for it. I am not a big big programmer, yet I found ASPmaker to be extremely quick and easy to learn. And if you have any problem using this tool you can go to there website forum (http://www.hkvstore.com/aspmaker/discuss.asp) and can ask any query reguarding to this product and they will reply you asap.You can add,edit,del,copy,search(basic+advance search),list,view data as well as you can upload any file to database.Well i must say thay if you have'nt used this product yet then you are missing something great...."HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!"

Strengths: Very easy to customize
Weaknesses: would like to use swedish dateformat on datepicker (2003-03-24).
Details: Great tool to easily make a admin interface quickly and goodlooking. The dateformat weakness can be overrun in the outputted code from ASPMaker. But otherwise a fantastic tool
