If you want to set up a chat server on your own ASP enabled site, just place these files in a directory of your choice and make a link to 'default.asp'. It's that easy. No components to install, totally open source, and now supports multiple rooms. Code: ASP 2.0 & VBScript |

Details: I was able to set up this chat within 2 minutes. I unpacked the files into a directory and updated by 'global.asa' file as described in the readme.txt

Details: My project was to find a free asp-driven chat app. Moreover, it had to be fairly easy to modify since I didn't want to have to rewrite the thing in order to customize it. This app fit the bill. If only it supported multiple rooms and a superuser. But if these features aren't absolutely required, I'd highly recommend this one. |

Details: This is simply the best and easiest to install ASP chat available. The code is clear and FREE! I submited my URL to the author and he got back to me commenting my site and telling me that I don't have to put its site logo on my page... You can't ask for more flexibility then this! |

Details: I have found the chat here on aspin.com and it rocks got it up in minutes.
And the support for the smilies is very cool maybe a tip for new options is multiple rooms and talking private.
And an admin option would be handy for kicking out users that are messign around.
And i give the Author not five Stars but Six hehee ! |
