Aspin.com Improvements

Details: First off, I want to thank everyone for their constructive criticism. In response to the last two reviews we have made some improvements. First, we have moved our database to a new and more powerful database server, which has fixed the downtime issues seen during May 2000. The site is now faster than ever and has not seen any downtime since the move :-) In response to Mark’s "Too Many Ads" review, we have thinned out the advertising on the site by reducing Banner Ads and providing more useful link-based ads. We have also better labeled these ads with sponsor logos to prevent confusion. I too wish that we could get rid of all the Ads altogether, but then we couldn’t pay the bills, and Aspin.com would cease to exist. As long as users keep on supporting our site by visiting our sponsors... we will keep on improving Aspin.com for the ASP community. Thank you for your feedback. |

Details: I like this site, but don't like the idea of all the ads. The new one on the front page that looks like normal links made me upset, they should just make this a site of asp stuff, not a site of ads! |
