There are two types of 468 Banner Ads: Targeted and Run-of-section.
They are both shown at the top and bottom of most of the pages on our website.
Targeted 468 Banner
The Targeted 468x60 Banner is shown only in categories of your choice.
This allows you to maximize your advertising campaign by targeting the site users
that are most likely to use your product or service. Within the categories
you choose, you can also choose either the top or bottom 468 Banner location. Once
a location is sold, your 468 Banner will be the only one shown in that location.
In other words, no one else’s banners will rotate with yours. This makes
the 468 banner very valuable because you are able to lock in your ad and target
100% of those users.
ROS (Run-of-section) 468 Banner
The ROS 468 Banner is rotated evenly in the top and bottom 468 Banner
locations across an entire section of our website (you choose the section).
The only place the ROS 468 Banner will not appear is in categories that have a
Targeted 468 Banner. Since the ROS 468 Banner is shown across an entire section of the site,
it is a great way to get your message out to the entire community and spark the interest
of many users who previously didn’t even think to use a product or service like yours.

Targeted 468 Banner
The Targeted 468 Banner is sold at a fixed price per 30 day period. The fixed price is
calculated based on a category's impressions and is thus different for each category.

ROS 468 Banner
The ROS 468 Banner is not sold by impressions, but rather by slots which
run for 30-day periods. The impressions a slot will receive during any 30 day
period is a function of each section's traffic and the number of slots sold during
those 30 days in that section. In general though, each section's site traffic and the number of slots
sold are stable figures and therefore we are able to estimate the impressions
you will receive per slot (as quoted below).

*The impressions quoted here are estimated based on the average impressions
delivered per slot during the period between 1/30/2008
and 2/29/2008. Note that the "Price" per slot is fixed
and is independent of impressions delivered. However, at a very minimum
we guarantee that you will receive at least 80% of these estimated impressions (note,
we've never had to do this).
If you would like more impressions than 1 slot can deliver in a 30-day period, you can
simply buy multiple slots to run within the same 30-day period.
Discounts ranging from 5% to 15% are available depending upon campaign
size, term, type of payment, and other campaign options.
